Location: V/O Med Spa, Canton, CT

Job Type: 3-Month Temporary Assignment (Potential to transition to part-time)

About the Opportunity:

Are you a Nurse Practitioner looking to explore a new, rewarding direction in aesthetic medicine? V/O Med Spa is offering a unique short-term opportunity for NPs who want to gain experience in the med spa industry through hands-on exposure.

This 3-month training-focused position is ideal for nurses from other healthcare sectors who are curious about aesthetic medicine. Your primary role will be to conduct Good Faith Exams (GFEs)a required initial step before clients receive cosmetic treatments.

In addition to conducting GFEs, youll have the opportunity to shadow experienced medical spa providers, observe aesthetic consultations and treatments and participate in hands-on training - gaining valuable insight into this rapidly growing field.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough Good Faith Exams for new and returning med spa clients

Assess patient history and ensure clients are medically cleared for aesthetic treatments

Build rapport with clients to support a safe, ethical, and welcoming experience

Collaborate with the medical director and aesthetic providers to support seamless client care

Maintain accurate, compliant documentation

Shadow experienced injectors and aestheticians to learn protocols, patient education, and med spa services

Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA regulations and safety protocols

Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (APRN) license in the state of employment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Professional demeanor and a desire to learn more about the aesthetics field

Ability to commit to a 3-month, part-time

No prior med spa or injection experience required
