Our banking client is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team. As a Data Analyst, you will be part of a the team involved in an application migration. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and superior data extraction and scripting skills. In addition, client is looking for a candidate who has been part of an application / software transformation handing very large data sets.
Perform data integration and data mapping and data extraction management along with data cleansing while migrating data from legacy system to a new NetGen application.
Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and cleansing complex data sets for an application transformation.
Proficient in SQL, Python, R, and/or other scripting languages to help with intelligent automation.
Experienced in working cross-functionally with stakeholders to define project goals, gather requirements, and deliver high-quality deliverables within tight deadlines.
Preferred is a candidate who has knowledge of Voice Recording systems like NICE, Genesys, etc.
Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Jersey City, 2 Bryant Park or Pennington, NJ (Client is not willing to accept relocating candidates)
Pay Range: $70-75 per hour W2 (all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2; unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors directly or do any kind of "referral")
What's the Job? - Maintain and analyze large datasets of voice recording metadata (e.g., timestamps, users, call durations).
- Help create dashboards and reports for compliance officers, risk managers, and trading supervisors.
- Work with structured and semi-structured data across multiple systems (e.g., NICE, Verint, Red Box, or internal platforms).
- Support audits and regulatory inquiries by extracting, analyzing, and presenting voice metadata.
- Monitor gaps in coverage (e.g., missed or incomplete recordings) and escalate issues.
What's Needed? - Data Science including data pipelining, data extraction, data analysis, and reporting.
- Familiarity with voice recording systems and metadata analysis.
- Strong skills in SQL or similar querying languages.
- Ability to develop scripts or workflows for automation of reporting tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
