Our client has an opening for a  Jr Data Analyst . This position will support the Army’s annual Program Objective Memorandum (POM) planning, POM build, and Program budget review. The right candidate will have at least three years of  data analysis, data science, and/or data engineering . DataBricks  experience is preferred! This position requires a  DoD Secret Clearance or higher. This role is  hybrid  with three to four days a week at Fort Belvoir, VA. It’s possible this role transitions to full-time in the office.

 

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Active  DoD Secret Clearance (required)
• 3–6 years of relevant experience with data pipelines and reporting systems
• Strong experience in  SQL ,  Power BI , and  DataBricks
• Familiarity with  financial planning ,  POM processes , or  federal data systems
• Ability to analyze business needs and translate into data models and tools
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines supporting Army financial planning
• Support development of  SQL queries ,  Power BI dashboards , and  automated reports
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights
• Support efforts to  modernize legacy reporting tools
• Work closely with senior data engineers and analysts to refine outputs
• Ensure data accuracy and security across systems
• Document processes and contribute to audit-readiness
