MAIN FUNCTION:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Warehouse Analyst to assist in the management and optimization of our data warehouse systems. The successful candidate will support cross-functional teams, contribute to data strategies in alignment with business objectives, and ensure seamless integration across various departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business intelligence, data warehousing or a related role, with exposure to data warehouse implementations and maintenance.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of data warehouse technologies, database management systems, and programming languages such as SQL.
  • Microsoft SQL Server: Must have knowledge and some experience with Microsoft SQL Server for database management.
  • Microsoft Power BI: Must be proficient in using and managing Microsoft Power BI for developing and maintaining business intelligence reports.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze business processes and data sets to support data warehouse performance and continuous improvement.
• Project Management Skills: Good organizational abilities, with some exposure to project management methodologies and tools.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying data warehouse concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitating support and training.
• Problem-Solving Aptitude: Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions during data warehouse deployment and maintenance.
• Adaptability: Willingness to stay updated with advancements in data warehouse technologies and integrate them into business processes.
• Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, data warehousing certifications, BI certifications) are a plus.
• Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing (DW ): Essential for transforming raw data into meaningful information that supports decision-making and enhances business operations and outcomes.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

• Executive Management : Collaborate with senior leaders to align data warehouse strategies with organizational goals and secure necessary resources.
• Department Heads: Work closely with heads of various departments to identify data integration opportunities and ensure smooth implementation.
• IT and Development Teams: Coordinate with technical teams to oversee the configuration, customization, and deployment of data warehouse modules. Ensure data warehouse systems comply with data privacy regulations and maintain robust security standards.
• End Users: Provide training and support to employees to facilitate effective utilization of data warehouse systems.

• Training and Support: Conduct training sessions for employees on data warehouse systems and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor data warehouse system performance, making necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure all data warehouse implementations comply with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
• Vendor Management: Assist in managing relationships with data warehouse technology vendors and service providers to facilitate successful implementations.

COMPENSATION :

The base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $85,000; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
