Summary

As a Justice Involved Re-entry Initiative (JI) Research Specialist at Gainwell, you can contribute your skills to maintain effective communication within our organization and with external stakeholders. This position requires exceptional writing and organizational skills to produce clear and professional correspondence. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing large volumes of claims data, multiple communication channels, and ensuring that all responses are timely and accurate.

Your role in our mission

  • Handle queries for claims research from clients, stakeholders, and team members in a professional and timely manner. This requires not only excellent writing skills but also the ability to remain composed under pressure. Providing prompt responses builds trust and rapport with stakeholders.
  • Conduct research to identify emerging trends based on Medi-Cal claims data.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and legal requirements regarding communication and correspondence. This includes understanding privacy regulations and confidentiality agreements. Compliance protects the organization from potential liabilities.
  • Oversee the flow of correspondence to ensure timely responses and follow-ups. This includes prioritizing urgent messages and routing them to the appropriate parties. A well-managed communication system enhances the organization’s efficiency.
  • Review all correspondence for grammar, clarity, and adherence to company policies. Attention to detail is crucial in this role to prevent misunderstandings and maintain professionalism. Effective editing ensures that all communications uphold the organization’s standards.

What you should expect in this role

  • Must be a resident of the state of California.
  • Primarily remote work. May occasionally report onsite for meetings, special training requests, or other business needs. The office is in West Sacramento.

The pay range for this position is $41,100 - $58,700 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
