Overview of the Role

We’re looking for a technically adept and customer-focused Lead Field Technician – WiFi to join our Field Operations team. In this role, you’ll lead wireless network deployments at hospitality properties, ensuring reliable connectivity that exceeds guest expectations. You’ll be the boots-on-the-ground link between engineering and execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead WiFi installation projects from planning to post-install audits
  • Conduct site surveys and AP placement validation using heatmapping tools
  • Train and oversee technicians on best practices for wireless deployments
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues in the field
  • Coordinate with Deployment managers to finalize layouts and ensure alignment
  • Provide post-install support and customer education as needed
  • Maintain professionalism and empathy in customer communications

What You Bring

  • Must-Haves:
    • 3+ years of experience in WiFi deployment or networking
    • Hands-on experience with Ubiquiti, Ruckus, Cisco, or Aruba systems
    • Ability to interpret heat maps and conduct signal testing
    • Understanding of network topology and bandwidth management
    • Clear communication and team leadership skills
    • Willingness to travel nationwide
  • Nice-to-Have
    • CWNA or similar wireless certification
    • Experience with Ekahau or similar survey tools
    • Familiarity with hospitality or multi-unit deployments
