This position is for you if:

• You are accomplished with challenge analysis/resolution at both a strategic and a functional level.
• You have a mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with tools of all kinds.
• You have strong project, planning and time management abilities.
• You are skilled in personnel management, communication and conflict resolution.
• You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5 years related experience, agriculture or horticulture a plus.
• You are proficient with computers and Excel.

Join our team:

As the successful National Facilities Manager, you will be working with the CEO/President (16 years with Speedling) as well as the rest of the Speedling team. This role will manage and direct facility maintenance planning, asset inventory and safety for all Speedling locations to enhanced profitability with consistent quality meeting customers’ expectations. This will include strategic project planning, CapEx expenditure, property lease and insurance requirements, maximizing utility spend, vehicle and rolling inventory, Safety and OSHA compliance.

The job details:

• Provide equipment maintenance leadership utilizing proactive preventative and predictive maintenance methods and systems
• Manage the repairs & maintenance budget for each facility.
• Manage the CapEx budgeted spending for all facilities and provide strategic input/project management regarding capital planning.
• Assume responsibility for compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Monitor and train all staff on safety procedures as National Safety Officer.
• Develop and maintain written maintenance policies and procedures.
• Develop systems and controls to encourage multi-site sharing of best practices and ensure compliance.
• Head the committee to maintain adequate insurance and compliance on all property and equipment.
• Review and negotiate all leases of property and equipment.
• Manage all insurance claims and repairs when needed.
• Act as consultant to CEO, supervise ad hoc projects or feasibility studies as requested.
• Willing to travel based on company needs.
