We're Hiring: Ophthalmic Technician/Assistant
Join our innovative, patient-focused optometry practice!

Position: Ophthalmic Technician
Location: East Lyme, CT
Schedule: Friday/Sat/Sun (10 AM-6 PM) with flexibility to move to full time (Thurs-Tues)

We are a state-of-the-art optometry practice offering telemedicine services and we're looking for a passionate and skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our on-site team. If you're eager to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment and provide top-notch care, we want to hear from you!

What We’re Looking For:

A team player who is patient-focused, with a strong work ethic and who is professional and courteous.
Someone who can adapt and is excited to learn new technologies and techniques.
Prior experience in an optometry or ophthalmology practice is a plus, but we’re happy to train if you have the right attitude!
Someone who can help optimize patient flow and ensure a smooth and efficient clinic experience.

Requirements:

Minimum: High school diploma (or equivalent).
Preferred: Certified Ophthalmic Technician Certification (COT), or similar certification.
Prior experience in an optometry or ophthalmology setting is preferred, but not required—training will be provided!
Comfortable with ophthalmic equipment and assisting with telemedicine procedures.

Hourly Pay: $16-$24 per hour, based on experience/certification.
