Job Description

Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-6 students within a full-time, contract position located in Canby, OR. This role requires fluency in Spanish and the ability to serve a diverse student population effectively in a school-based setting.

Key qualifications and experience:

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings
Fluency in Spanish, both spoken and written, to support bilingual students
Ability to manage a caseload in an elementary school environment
Commitment to providing comprehensive speech and language services aligned with educational goals

Position details:

Location: Canby, Oregon
School grade levels served: Kindergarten through 6th grade
Caseload: 34 students, with 19 students case-managed directly by the SLP
Employment type: Full-time contract
Contract duration: September 2, 2025, through June 10, 2026
Focus: Elementary school caseload supporting speech and language development

Responsibilities include:

Conducting speech and language assessments and screenings
Developing individualized treatment plans and goals for students
Delivering direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
Collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
