Their Walnut Creek, CA site has supported clinical trials for over 30 years, specializing in Phase I–III research across a variety of therapeutic areas including vaccines, cardiology, and metabolic disorders.

POSITION

This is a unique hybrid position combining clinical data quality oversight with investigational product/pharmacy support. Approximately 70% of the role involves reviewing clinical trial documentation and source data to ensure protocol compliance and accuracy. The remaining 30% supports the site pharmacy, including oversight of study medications and investigational product handling. It's a great opportunity for a pharmacist with strong attention to detail and an interest in research to make a direct impact on clinical trial quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review clinical trial data, source documents, and informed consent forms for accuracy and completeness
  • Identify discrepancies and collaborate with study teams to resolve issues
  • Enter and review data within electronic clinical trial systems
  • Review protocols and investigational product handling requirements
  • Support inventory management, sterile compounding, and study drug administration
  • Maintain documentation and logs to ensure compliance with study and regulatory requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • PharmD or expected graduation within 3 months
  • Active Pharmacist license in California (or eligible for licensure soon)
  • Pharmacy experience preferred but not required (clinical or retail); research experience a plus
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and learning digital platforms used in research
