ABOUT THE ROLE \n\n
Holcim US is recruiting for full-time day and night shift Aggregate Plant Maintenance Technicians at the Stringtown, OK Quarry.
\n\n
Shift differential for night shift (6 pm - 6 am). All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed, and individuals work as team members. Primary responsibilities include assisting in the maintenance & production functions of the quarry.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH \n\n
\n\t - Safely perform maintenance activities to ensure plant efficiency. Prioritize Safety, then Quality, followed by Production.
\n\t - Ensures a safe work environment for self and others at all times; ensure all work areas are clean, tidy, and organized at all times
\n\t - Understand and comply with Environmental Health and safety policies to ensure environmental health and safety are the priority. Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility and assist as needed to improve EHS
\n\t - Trains and coaches other employees when needed
\n\t - Responsible for maintaining the plant manufacturing equipment in a state of readiness.
\n\t - Complete work orders promptly; install, repair, and fabricate metal materials; ensure the availability and proper functioning of required items; and resolve any immediate safety concerns.
\n\t - Perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment as needed, and operate plant equipment as necessary to meet production requirements.
\n\t - Performs other duties as time permits or as assigned.
\n\t - Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR \n\n
\n\t - Required Education: High School diploma/GED
\n\t - Other Training/Certifications Required: Maintenance experience is a MUST
\n\t - Required Work Experience: 3-5 Years in a mine site
\n\t - Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer skills
\n\t - Competency Profile (Eg. Lominger):
\n\t - Teamwork and cooperation
\n\t - Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external clients. Keep a professional and calm attitude under stressful situations.
\n\t - Problem-solving and analysis skills is a MUST
\n\t - Internal Customer focused
\n\t - Strong interpersonal skills
\n\t - Must be able to work in a highly stressed, fast-paced environment with little to no supervision
\n\t - Ability to multi-task and detail-oriented
\n\t - Excellent organizational skills
\n\t - Execution of best practices to provide a consistent and standardized customer experience
\n\t - Knowledge of products, market geography, and product applications
\n\t - Strong welding and mechanical experience is a MUST
\n\t - Knowledge of conveyor belts, screens, and crushers.

Additional Requirements: \n\n
\n\t - Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
