Job Description

This position is for a dedicated professional with expertise in behavior analysis to support students in a K-12 school setting located in Birmingham, AL. Qualified candidates will be providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives through applied behavioral interventions. This contract position begins ASAP through 06/09/25.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Experience working with children, particularly in educational settings
• Strong knowledge of behavioral strategies and interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and other professionals

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Implement and oversee the delivery of applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs
• Train and support staff in behavioral techniques and data collection methods
• Monitor student progress and adjust BIPs as needed
• Communicate regularly with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams regarding student outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all regulatory requirements
