Job Description

As a Security Professional - Telecom Site Patrol in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be expected to respond promptly to incidents, assist with access control, and utilize technology such as computers or tablets as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, especially within technology, media, and telecom settings.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any irregularities.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with customer service is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
