Qualifications
Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in a garden center or related industry
Knowledge of plant care, gardening techniques, and landscaping
Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Responsibilities
You'll play a vital role in assisting customers, contributing to the growth and success of our nursery.
Assist customers with plant selection and gardening advice
Ensure the garden center is visually appealing and well-organized, lifting up to 40 lbs may be required.
Handle transactions accurately at the cash register
Maintain knowledge of plant care, gardening techniques, and landscaping
Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals
Contribute to inventory control and plant organization
General maintenance of nursery such as weeding, cleaning, organizing, stocking plants
