We are looking for a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) to join our busy and growing ophthalmology team in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will assist with patient evaluations, perform diagnostic testing, support procedures, and contribute to a smooth clinical workflow.

Key Duties Include:

- Conducting patient assessments and diagnostic tests
- Assisting with in-office procedures and surgeries
- Educating patients on medications and post-op care
- Managing clinical supplies, messaging, and supporting physicians
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused environment

Requirements:

- COA certification (JCAHPO or equivalent)
- Prior ophthalmology experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
