Job Description

An established pharmacy operation in Clearwater, FL is actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week assignment. If you have a strong retail background and are ready to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this is a high-priority opening that needs to be filled quickly.


This role covers a mix of prescription processing, insurance resolution, and communication tasks while supporting fulfillment and inventory operations. Strong Microsoft Office skills and phone communication experience are essential.



Assignment Details:
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP (1.52 weeks post-offer)



Primary Duties:

• Process prescriptions and resolve insurance rejections
• Package medications for pharmacist review
• Perform prescription data entry and document handling
• Communicate with patients, providers, and pharmacy staff
• Conduct inventory checks and handle expired or returned meds
• Cross-train in pharmacy operations as needed
• Comply with HIPAA and industry regulations

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Active Florida pharmacy technician license
• PTCB certification
• At least 2 years of retail pharmacy technician experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong phone communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
